Dear Backers,
We can literally (alright, figuratively) smell those freshly manufactured boxes!
Proliferation: The Game of Nuclear Strategy will be finished manufacturing in early March, per estimates from our contact at Delano Games. While we couldn’t get a firm finish date, we have been assured that the process is going smoothly, and that games should be finished within the next month. For those who pledged money toward our Kickstarter campaign, your box will be fulfilled by our manufacturer, in an effort to save on both time and transportation. Future games will be fulfilled by ShipBob, a fulfillment company with warehouses across the country.
We know it’s been a long journey, and we want to thank you once again for your continued support, patience, and excitement. Our team can barely hold it together!
Please make sure your address is correct in BackerKit over the next week. We will be sending the final list of addresses to Delano Games afterwards, so make sure your information is correct by no later than Saturday, February 11th, 2023. Please feel free to Direct Message us on Kickstarter, or email us at [email protected]. We want to make sure your copy of Proliferation has no problems making your next game night nuclear!
Parts of the game, especially if you pledged for a Collector’s Edition, may arrive separately. Feel free to message us if you’re unsure if your order has been completed.
Finally, we have an important announcement to make: Our pre-order store for Proliferation goes live on Monday, February 6th! Head on over to wargameslv.com to pre-order your future favorite nuclear strategy game before the Kickstarter edition is all sold out. Dear Backers,
We hope you had a wonderful holiday season, and we want to welcome everyone into an exciting new year!
We are pleased to announce that we confirmed the proofs sent by our manufacturer, and that Proliferation: The Game of Nuclear Strategy is set to be fully in the manufacturing stage any day now! We approved the second round, and sent the proofs back through the mail last Thursday. Parts of the game are already in production, such as the Nuclear Winter Tokens and one of the two rulebooks. After Delano Games receives our second round of proof approvals, we will be all ready to go on the approximately 10-12 week process of manufacturing the first round of Proliferation.
More exact shipping dates will be announced in our next update.
In other news, we will be launching a blog on our website, wargameslv.com, leading up to the launch of our online store. If you want to hear more about the game design process now that we have sent our first game to manufacturing, along with commentary on other topics such as international relations, nuclear policy, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, head on over to the site and check it out!
A few matters of housekeeping are also in order. Please don’t forget to confirm that your shipping address is correct. If you need to change your address, email us at [email protected]. Items from the Collector’s Edition may ship separately. We will continue to keep you updated on the status of all Kickstarter tiers until all of them have been fulfilled.

Dear Backers,
Thank you for being so patient as we continue bringing Proliferation to life. Your continued and unwavering support means the world to our team, and makes us even more excited to get this tabletop game to your doorsteps!
We are now neck deep in the manufacturing process with Delano Games, having submitted the bulk of our graphic design to them this week. After this step is complete, we will receive proofs to review. Once we review and approve the proofs, production will begin. The last lead time we were given for manufacturing was 10 weeks. We will continue to keep you updated as the finish line becomes more clear, and we hope to show off some of our beautiful design proofs by the next Kickstarter update!
While Delano manufactures our debut tabletop game, our team has been hard at work designing our online store at WarGamesLV.com, with the hopes of having a pre-order flash sale on January 1st, 2023.
Metal dice included in the Collector’s Edition tier may arrive a little later than expected. When contacting Norse Foundry about the status of our dice shipment, they confirmed that Hurricane Ian might end up forcing them to delay shipment. We will also keep you updated on this situation as it evolves.
Finally, please make sure that your addresses are final, and either message us on Kickstarter, Instagram, Facebook, or send an email to [email protected] if you are unsure or want to update the address you have.

Dear Backers,
Spooky Season is almost upon us! We hope you love the transition to Fall as much as we do here at War Games LV. We also hope you are managing your obsession with Pumpkin Spice better than our Co-Founder, Cory.
Five of our team members flew out to Battle Creek, Michigan at the end of last month to sit down with our manufacturer, Delano Games. We took a tour of the facility, got all our questions answered, and even survived a town-wide blackout courtesy of a storm that rolled in the morning we landed. While the blackouts and unbearable flights were less than ideal, we are happy to report that the meeting went amazingly well, and we will be moving forward with Delano Games as our USA manufacturer for Proliferation: The Game of Nuclear Strategy.
And just like that, it’s finally here: the manufacturing stage of production has finally arrived!
At this moment, we are approving the box inserts and preparing all the files for printing. We hope to be shipping your copy of Proliferation to your doorstep by the end of the year, but we will absolutely report any updates we get from our manufacturer on a timeline once the date approaches.
Next on our team’s agenda is filming a “How-To” video explaining all the rules for your next favorite board game, Proliferation. We will also be hard at work preparing our online store for orders once the manufacturing process is over.
Finally, a little bit of housekeeping is in order. If you have not already done so, please confirm your address in BackerKit, or reach out to [email protected] with any questions or concerns you have about the process. When the games are done being manufactured, we will be sending your box to the address we have on file, so please verify that it is correct! And to those of you that recently requested an address change, we will be taking care of those this week.
If you pledged for a Collector’s Edition Box, your metal dice and turn tracker will ship separately.

Dear Backers,
We have a few pieces of good news to share with you!
We are finally done with the design process. Proliferation: The Game of Nuclear Strategy is just about ready for manufacturing. We have our official sit-down with our manufacturer at the end of this month, where we will get any questions we have answered and get our files ready to submit.
That also means that the printable version of our game will be sent out very soon! We will let you know more about the printable version in our next update, which will be on Wednesday, September 14th. We will also give an update on how our manufacturing meeting went and what to expect next in the process.
After we officially submit our designs to Delano Games, we will be working hard on a how-to video. One of our Co-Founders will also be working on the rap songs promised to our two Proliferation Master backers. We are very excited for you all to see the how-to video, and also hear the sick flows!
A few final points of order: Please confirm your address if you haven’t already! We do see that there are still some backers that have not done this in BackerKit. If you need confirmation that your address is correct, are unsure of how to change it, or need to change your address, send us a message through Kickstarter and we will help you resolve the issue. Please confirm your address by August 31st, 2022 to ensure that Proliferation makes its way to the proper doorstep!
If you ordered the Collector’s Edition and sent us your metal dice preference by February 25th, 2022, then you will be getting the dice of your choice. If you did not send us a preference by that date, you will be receiving the Nightmare Black Metal dice with your game.
